π How to Use SignShop
With SignShop, players can create shops using chests and signs — no commands, no menus, just Minecraft blocks and signs.
β
How to Make a [Buy]
Shop
This lets other players buy items from you.
Step-by-step:
-
Place a chest and fill it with the item you want to sell.
-
Place a sign near the chest.
-
Write the sign like this:
-
1
= amount of items per purchase -
Diamond
= item name (you can also just hold the item when linking!) -
100
= price the buyer pay
-
-
Punch the chest, then punch the sign while holding redstone dust to link them.
When another player right-clicks the sign, they’ll pay $100 and get 1 diamond (if stock is available).
β
How to Make a [Sell]
Shop
This lets players sell items to you.
Step-by-step:
-
Place a chest where the items will go.
-
Place a sign nearby and write:
-
1
= amount player sells per click -
Diamond
= item they must sell -
50
= money you pay them
-
-
Punch the chest, then punch the sign with redstone dust.
Now when players right-click the sign, they’ll give you 1 diamond and get $50 (if you have money).
π§ Sign Tips
-
You can use item IDs or custom names (but usually it auto-detects from the chest).
-
You can color signs or add second lines for decoration.
-
Want to change the price or amount? Just break and remake the sign.
π Common Mistakes
-
Didn’t link the sign and chest? Always punch the chest first, then the sign with redstone dust.
-
Wrong item? Make sure the chest has the exact item you want to sell or buy.
-
No money? Make sure you (or the buyer/seller) have enough balance.
-
Chest too far? Signs must be close to the chest unless the server allows long distances.
